A1: Hoop Length refers to the length from the left bracket to the right bracekt of the regular frame (plastic frame) that comes with your machine. Just measure the regular frame of the machine to get the Hoop Length data ( Photos as reference for you)

The best way to safely clean your Sewtalent magnetic hoop for Kingstar machines is to press a piece of strong adhesive tape, like duct tape, or use sticky putty to lift away the metal shards. Do not wipe with your hands or cloths, as this may cause injury or leave residue. Keeping the magnets clean maintains stable embroidery performance.

What is the correct procedure for hooping fabric with this magnetic frame? Are there any special techniques?

To hoop properly, first place the bottom frame on your work surface, then lay the stabilizer and fabric smoothly over it. Next, let the top frame gently snap into place—no force needed. The strong magnets hold layers evenly, ensuring precise alignment for Kingstar KSQ and Kingstar 1201 embroidery machines during stitching.

Will my embroidery machine automatically recognize this frame's size, or do I need to set it manually?

Most embroidery machines, including Kingstar models, won’t automatically detect the 17″ × 15.5″ (430 × 390 mm) frame size.
