FAQs
When using this magnetic embroidery frame, should the stabilizer be placed inside the frame or floated outside of it?
In most embroidery projects on ZHELI machines, the stabilizer should be sandwiched between the magnetic embroidery hoops along with the fabric to ensure stability and accurate stitching. However, for thick or hard-to-hoop materials such as bags or towels, you can float the stabilizer underneath the bottom hoop for easier alignment and even surface tension.
Why is my fabric puckering in the center during embroidery, even though I hooped it tightly with the magnetic frame?
Puckering often results from using the wrong type or weight of stabilizer rather than hoop tension issues. For example, use a cut-away stabilizer for stretch fabrics and ensure the fabric is not pre-stretched inside the embroidery frame. This helps maintain consistent tension on ZHELI 1201 or 902 machines and produces a smooth, professional stitch result.
If I have computers or USB drives near my embroidery station, could the strong magnets damage my electronic data?
Yes, it’s important to keep strong magnets like those used in Sewtalent magnetic embroidery hoops at a safe distance from sensitive electronics or storage media. Maintain at least a 50 cm gap between the hoop and items such as computers, phones, USB flash drives, or credit cards to prevent accidental data corruption or magnetic interference.
Can I embroider bulky or zippered items with this Sewtalent magnetic hoop for ZHELI machines?
Absolutely. The powerful and balanced magnetic force of this hoop helps grip thick materials like hoodies, jackets, or zippered bags without leaving marks. It allows you to position and secure the fabric evenly, ensuring consistent stitch quality across large embroidery areas on ZHELI industrial models such as 1202 or XD 1206.
