Both methods can work well for Sewtalent magnetic hoops on CHAO YUE embroidery machines. For most fabrics, it’s best to sandwich the stabilizer with the fabric between the top and bottom frames to maintain even tension. Floating the stabilizer beneath the lower frame is a good technique for bulky, delicate, or hard-to-hoop materials that need extra flexibility.
Why is my fabric puckering in the center during embroidery even though I hoop it tightly?
Puckering when using Sewtalent embroidery hoops magnetic for CHAO YUE machines is usually due to the stabilizer, not hoop tension. Always choose the correct stabilizer type and weight—such as cut‑away for knits or tear‑away for woven fabrics—and avoid stretching the material during hooping. Proper stabilizer choice keeps stitching flat and professionally framed.

This accessory allows consistent placement on shirts, hoodies, or bags, increasing embroidery frame accuracy and workflow speed. Other hooping stations might not fit our hoop dimensions as precisely.
Are there cases where a traditional screw hoop performs better than a magnetic hoop?
While Sewtalent magnetic hoops work efficiently for about 95% of embroidery scenarios on CHAO YUE models, traditional screw hoops may provide stronger tension on very thick or extremely rigid items, such as boots or leather pieces.
