To safely clean the magnetic surface, use a piece of strong tape or adhesive putty to lift metal debris such as broken needle tips. Avoid wiping with your fingers or cloths, as metal shards can cause injury or scratch the hoop. Regular cleaning helps maintain precision for embroidery and quilting projects.
If fabric shifts while using the Sewtalent magnetic hoop on the Fortever Halo100, check that the stabilizer suits your fabric weight, ensure the material is taut but not overstretched, and consider adding a non-slip grip tape. Also, choose a hoop size close to your embroidery design to minimize surface tension issues.
Installation is simple and requires no calibration tools. Only a standard screwdriver is needed to secure the brackets to the Fortever Halo100 embroidery machine. The magnetic hoop system allows quick changes between different hoop sizes, streamlining embroidery setups for multi-size projects.
