Both sections contain magnets, but their contours lock together precisely to ensure even tension and perfect alignment every time. I mainly embroider T-shirt logos. Which frame size is the most appropriate for me?
For left-chest or small logo embroidery projects, the 5.1″ × 5.1″ (130 × 130 mm) Sewtalent magnetic hoop is ideal. It provides enough space for compact designs while keeping fabric secure. If you plan on stitching full-front artwork, selecting a larger magnetic embroidery frame, such as 10″ × 10″ or above, offers better coverage and smoother results on wide garment areas.
Does purchasing this frame include all the brackets and hardware needed to connect to my machine?
Yes. Each Sewtalent embroidery magnetic hoop for DMP machines is supplied with the appropriate metal brackets, screws, and a screwdriver. The bracket set matches your specific DMP model, including CT-1201 and FT-1210-SC. When using this magnetic frame, should the stabilizer be placed inside the frame or 'floated' outside of it?
With Sewtalent magnetic embroidery hoops, the stabilizer can be layered in two ways. For most fabrics, sandwich the stabilizer between the top and bottom frames to maintain tension. For thick or delicate materials, many users prefer floating—placing the stabilizer underneath only. Both methods work smoothly on DMP embroidery machines, depending on the texture and hooping complexity.
