The package contains one magnetic top frame, one flat bottom frame, and one pair of metal brackets customized for KAIZEN embroidery machines. It also includes a bag of screws and a screwdriver for easy assembly. Once the brackets are attached, the hoop securely fits models such as KAIZEN K901, K1501, K1502, K1503, and K1504.
Why is my fabric puckering in the center during embroidery, even though I hooped it tightly with the magnetic frame?
Puckering is usually caused by using the wrong stabilizer rather than an issue with the magnetic hoop itself. Ensure you choose the proper type and weight—like a cut-away stabilizer for knits—and avoid stretching the fabric during hooping. The Sewtalent magnetic frame minimizes stress across the embroidery field on KAIZEN models.
Are there any situations where using a traditional screw hoop would be better than this magnetic frame?
While the Sewtalent magnetic hoop covers about 95% of embroidery tasks efficiently, a traditional screw-frame can still be helpful for extremely thick or rigid materials such as boot leather or padded panels where maximum drum-skin tension is preferred. For apparel and bags, the magnetic design offers faster, safer, and cleaner setup.
Can I use this magnetic frame and my original traditional hoops on my machine at the same time?
Yes, as long as both frames have the same arm length and connection type for KAIZEN machines. Operators can easily switch between the Sewtalent magnetic hoop and traditional screw hoops in the same embroidery session, depending on fabric type and design size, without affecting alignment or tension control.
