However, 'floating'—placing the stabilizer only under the bottom frame—is effective for thick or fragile materials that are difficult to clamp, maintaining smooth stitching and avoiding fabric distortion.
I need to embroider a very small item like a tie or a sock. Can I 'float' these items on top of this frame?
Yes. With the Sewtalent 10.5″ × 12.4″ (265 × 315 mm) magnetic hoop for KAIZEN machines, small items can be floated easily.
