The top and bottom parts of the Sewtalent magnetic hoop are not identical; they’re shaped to fit together in a specific orientation. Both sides contain magnets that align automatically when positioned correctly, ensuring stable fabric holding during embroidery. Proper orientation provides smooth operation on ZSM QM-1201 and similar models.
Square magnetic hoops like the Sewtalent 6.9″ × 6.9″ (175 × 175 mm) model provide a wider, more uniform sewing area, which better suits square or rectangular logo designs. They make garment alignment easier, reduce fabric distortion, and provide consistent tension, ideal for producing sharp embroidery results on shirts, bags, or denim.
This rare issue usually relates to setup rather than magnet strength. Ensure the bracket screws are fully tightened on your Sewtalent magnetic embroidery hoop for ZSM models. Use proper stabilizer weight for your fabric. For extra traction on slippery materials, add a thin layer of non-slip liner under the bottom frame.
