Yes. The Sewtalent magnetic embroidery hoop for Tajima machines uses strong neodymium magnets that firmly clamp multiple layers, including fabric, lining, and stabilizer. This magnet hoop maintains tension evenly across thick or multilayered materials, such as bags, hoodies, or denim, reducing slippage and ensuring precise stitch alignment throughout your embroidery design.
Protective stickers are not required because each Sewtalent magnetic hoop has a smooth polished surface designed for safe contact with all fabrics. However, if you frequently work with delicate materials like silk or metallic threads, applying a thin painter’s tape layer can add extra grip. The embroidery hoops magnetic design already minimizes friction and eliminates hoop burn effectively.
These magnetic embroidery frames contain powerful industrial magnets and are not suitable for children to handle. Always store the Sewtalent magnetic hoop snapped together and out of reach. Avoid placing fingers between frames, as the magnetic pull is strong and may cause injury. Keep electronic devices and magnetic-sensitive items away from the hoop to ensure safety in the workspace.
Both methods are possible. For most Tajima embroidery applications, sandwiching the stabilizer together with the fabric inside the Sewtalent magnet hoop gives consistent tension. For bulky or irregular items, you can float the stabilizer under the bottom frame to avoid distortion. The embroidery hoop magnetic hold keeps the fabric firm either way for smooth stitching results.
