The Sewtalent magnetic hoop is slightly heavier than standard frames due to its integrated magnets but remains within the Inbro embroidery machine’s safe operating tolerance. Help! My needle hit the edge of the frame (a needle strike). Why did this happen and how can I prevent it?
This usually occurs when the selected hoop size in your Inbro software exceeds the Sewtalent hoop’s actual 4.3″ × 4.3″ (110 × 110 mm) sewing field or the design is too large. Always select the correct hoop size, perform a trace before stitching, and visually confirm the needle path to avoid strikes on your magnetic embroidery hoop.
