Watch videoThis usually happens if a larger hoop size is selected in the machine software than the actual 11.8″×3.1″ (300×80 mm) sewing field, or if the design was digitized too large for the frame. Always select the correct hoop size for your Merlin machine and run a trace test before embroidery to avoid needle strikes.
Use a strong adhesive tape or a small piece of tacky putty to gently lift away metal dust or broken needle tips from your Sewtalent magnetic hoop. Avoid wiping with fingers or cloth because strong magnets can trap sharp fragments, posing a safety risk. Keep the hoop clean to maintain stable machine embroidery performance.
The Sewtalent embroidery magnetic hoop has powerful magnets that can pinch fingers if handled carelessly. Keep fingers clear of the joining edge and slide the top frame sideways rather than lifting it straight up. Avoid placing the hoop near pacemakers, watches, or electronics as strong magnetic fields may affect them.
Each box includes one magnetic hoop main body, one pair of metal brackets compatible with your Merlin model, and a set of screws with a screwdriver for assembly.
