Yes. The Sewtalent embroidery hoop magnetic frame applies a consistent magnetic force across the surface, providing uniform tension on every layer of fabric. This reduces puckering and distortion when used on Fortever FT series embroidery machines. As a result, stitch accuracy and thread alignment remain stable, producing cleaner and sharper embroidered details on any fabric type.
Is it necessary to use protective stickers on the frame to prevent scratches on fabric?
Not usually. Sewtalent magnetic hoops are manufactured with a smooth, non‑abrasive surface that prevents marks and fabric damage. They work safely on cotton, polyester, and even delicate materials when used with Fortever FT‑1201 or FT‑1501 machines. However, for extra grip on slippery fabrics such as silk, you can optionally apply a thin layer of painter’s tape or stabilizer to enhance friction without affecting hoop function.
Is this magnetic hoop heavier than standard hoops? Will the extra weight strain my machine?
