Simply hoop a layer of sticky stabilizer or a base fabric, place your item like a tie or sock on top, and secure it gently. This technique works well on GALAXY models such as GX1201A and GX1501A for precise, easy embroidery without distortion.
To clean spray adhesive residue from the Sewtalent magnetic hoop, apply a citrus-based cleaner or rubbing alcohol to a soft cloth and gently wipe the surface. Avoid soaking the hoop or using harsh solvents, as they may weaken the magnetic coating. Regular cleaning keeps the embroidery frame performing reliably and maintains grip strength during repeated GALAXY machine use.
Most GALAXY embroidery machines, including GX1201-H and GX1210A, require manual hoop size setup. Input the 3.9″ × 3.9″ (100 × 100 mm) measurement into your machine's setting or design software, and confirm your design fits within the 3.1″ × 3.1″ (75 × 75 mm) actual sewing field. This ensures accurate stitching placement and prevents boundary errors during embroidery.
If the bracket on your Sewtalent embroidery hoop feels loose, hand-tighten the screws first, then use a screwdriver carefully on the connection between the hoop and its bracket.
