Not necessary. Each Sewtalent magnetic hoop features a smooth, polished surface that is safe for all fabric types. However, if you are working with delicate materials or high-gloss vinyl, you may optionally apply a thin layer of painter’s tape for extra surface traction when used on MAYA embroidery machine models like TCL-1201 or TH-1206.
Strong magnets can potentially affect magnetic storage devices. We recommend keeping your magnetic hoop at least 20 inches (50 cm) away from USB drives, credit cards, and hard drives near your embroidery station. This simple precaution ensures both your MAYA embroidery machine and digital equipment remain perfectly safe while you work.
