The actual embroidery field is slightly smaller at around 3.1″ × 12″ (80 × 300 mm). Leave a small margin, about 0.75 cm, inside the working area for the best stitching results and frame balance.
If slippage happens with your Sewtalent magnet hoop, check the stabilizer—it might be too light for your design. Very thick or slippery materials may benefit from adding non‑slip tape on the inner frame. Also, ensure the hoop size suits your project, as an oversized frame may reduce grip. Correct setup prevents this in most Vortex machine operations.
The Sewtalent embroidery hoop package includes one magnetic hoop main part, a pair of metal brackets custom‑fit for your Vortex embroidery machine, and a small screwdriver with mounting screws. The components are easy to assemble, with clear alignment between bracket arms and the hoop body for fast setup before embroidery sessions.
It’s not required to use extra protective tape with the Sewtalent magnetic hoop. The frame surface has a smooth, polished finish designed to protect all types of fabrics, including delicate silk and stretchy knits. However, users working on highly slippery materials may apply thin painter’s tape for extra grip if needed, ensuring fabric stability throughout stitching.
