Can I 'float' small items like ties or socks on this 6.5″ × 6.5″ (165 × 165 mm) magnetic hoop?
Yes. This frame size is ideal for floating small or irregular items that are hard to clamp, such as ties, socks, or sleeves. Simply hoop a sticky stabilizer or a base fabric, then place the small item on top. Will my DISEN embroidery machine automatically detect this hoop size?
Like most third-party magnetic hoops, this one is not automatically recognized by your machine. You’ll need to manually set the 6.5″ × 6.5″ (165 × 165 mm) frame size in your embroidery software. Always make sure your design fits within the 5.7″ × 5.7″ (145 × 145 mm) actual sewing field to prevent needle strikes when embroidering with models such as DISEN DSC-W1204 or DSC-J1506.
