Puckering is normally related to the stabilizer, not the hoop tension. When using the Sewtalent magnetic frame, choose a stabilizer that matches the fabric’s weight and stretch—for instance, a cut‑away stabilizer for knit fabrics. Also, avoid stretching the fabric during hooping. Proper backing, hooping alignment, and firm contact between fabric and magnet surface will prevent puckering.
