No, Sewtalent embroidery magnetic hoops use premium Neodymium magnets with extremely long lifespan. They maintain their holding power for decades and do not lose magnetic force during normal use, making them a one-time investment for your Brother industrial embroidery machine setup.
For best results, place the stabilizer and fabric together inside the Sewtalent magnetic hoop. This method prevents shifting during embroidery. Some users prefer to float the stabilizer under the lower frame when working on thick or hard-to-hoop materials. Both techniques are suitable for Brother PR series machines.
Needle strikes often occur if the selected hoop size in the Brother machine software is larger than the actual Sewtalent hoop area or if the design exceeds its 3.9″ × 3.9″ (100 × 100 mm) sewing field. Always select the correct hoop size, run a trace test, and confirm your design fits well within the embroidery frame limits.
