Yes. This Sewtalent 6.5″ × 6.5″ (165 × 165 mm) magnetic hoop is ideal for “floating” small pieces. Simply hoop a sticky stabilizer or scrap fabric, then place the small item such as a tie or sock on top. It’s much easier and reduces fabric distortion compared to forcing the item into a tiny frame on your LEJIA embroidery machine.
For polo logos, a 5‑inch hoop is most popular, providing precise, clean stitching. However, the Sewtalent 6.5″ × 6.5″ (165 × 165 mm) size offers flexibility for slightly larger logos or stacked text. Both fit LEJIA models like LJ‑1201 and LJ‑1501 perfectly, allowing quick setup and smooth hooping on various shirt fabrics.
Normally no. The Sewtalent magnetic hoop has a smooth, polished surface safe for most materials, even delicate fabrics. If you often work with slippery or fine textiles, applying a thin layer of painter’s tape or soft film can improve grip and add extra protection without changing the hoop’s performance on your LEJIA embroidery machine.
The magnets are powerful, so keep fingers clear of the snap zone when joining or separating the two hoop parts. Always slide the top frame sideways instead of pulling it directly upward. Avoid placing the hoop near pacemakers or sensitive electronics for safety. Proper technique ensures safer operation and long‑term performance.
