Yes. The Sewtalent magnetic hoop for OPEK embroidery machines applies smooth, even pressure over the entire sewing field instead of squeezing the fabric’s fibers. This prevents surface deformation or 'crushing', making it ideal for materials like velvet, silk, or leather. It keeps designs flat, stable, and free from permanent marks.
Always keep fingers away from the snap zone where the magnetic fields meet. To separate the frames, slide the top hoop sideways rather than pulling straight up to avoid pinching. Users with pacemakers or electronic medical devices should maintain distance. Handle near electronics carefully to prevent interference or accidental impact.
This usually occurs when the selected hoop size in your machine software is larger than the actual sewing field, or the design exceeds the 5.7″ × 5.7″ (145 × 145 mm) area. Always select the correct hoop size for your OPEK embroidery machine, and perform a trace test before stitching to confirm needle clearance and placement accuracy.
