Watch videoThis happens when the hoop size selected in your YESHI machine’s software is larger than the actual 6″ × 8″ (150 × 200 mm) sewing field, or if the design is digitized beyond that limit. Always choose the correct or smaller hoop size in your software and perform a trace test before embroidery to prevent needle strikes and frame damage.
To remove adhesive from your Sewtalent magnetic embroidery hoop for YESHI machines, lightly wipe surfaces with a cloth dampened with citrus-based cleaner or rubbing alcohol. Avoid soaking the hoop or using harsh solvents that could weaken the magnet or corrode metal parts. Regular cleaning preserves holding strength and smooth fabric contact.
The magnets in the Sewtalent frame are powerful. Keep fingers clear of the snap zone when attaching the top and bottom frames to avoid pinching. Always slide the top hoop sideways to remove it, rather than pulling straight up. Keep magnets away from pacemakers, smart devices, or electronic tools for safe and reliable embroidery use.
While Sewtalent magnetic hoops for YESHI machines are ideal for 95% of embroidery work, a traditional screw hoop can be useful for very thick, rigid materials like heavy boots or hard leather patches that need extra tension. For most garments and bags, magnetic embroidery hoops offer faster setup and consistent fabric tension.
