To align properly, mark the garment's center using a T-square or placement guide, then match those points with the hoop’s center lines before hooping. Yes. The Sewtalent magnetic hoop applies a continuous, uniform magnetic force across the entire frame, unlike traditional tension rings. This produces steady fabric tension that reduces puckering and slipping during stitching. The result is improved stitch accuracy and smooth patterns on QSEW models such as QS-1201 and QS-1202E embroidery machines.
Frame shifting is uncommon due to the strong magnets, but can happen with very dense embroidery. First, check that the brackets and screws are fully tightened on your QSEW machine. Make sure the stabilizer is suitable for your fabric. For extra grip, placing a non-slip layer between the frame and backing can further prevent movement on slick materials.
