Yes, you can use both on the same Britex embroidery machine as long as the hoop size and bracket type match. Simply switch between this magnetic frame and your standard hoops depending on design size or material type. This flexibility allows operators to maintain consistent embroidery quality with minimal setup time.
Puckering usually results from stabilizer or fabric stretch issues, not from the magnetic hoop itself. Ensure the proper stabilizer weight and type are used, such as a cut-away stabilizer for stretchy knits. Keep the fabric relaxed during hooping to maintain even tension across the full 8.5″ × 9″ (215 × 230 mm) sewing area.
Protective stickers are not required. The Sewtalent magnetic frame has a smooth, polished surface that prevents snagging or scratching. For ultra-slippery materials like satin, you can optionally place a thin layer of painter’s tape or protective film to enhance grip stability without affecting magnetic strength or embroidery quality.
This frame size is ideal for medium to large embroidery patterns such as sweatshirt fronts, polo shirt logos, and denim decorations. It offers excellent stability for rectangular patterns or multi-color stitching on Britex BR-1201 and BR-1504 machines, supporting consistent results across heavy or elastic fabric types.
