Most FUWEI models, including the FW and BC series, require manual setting for third-party magnetic hoops. You should add the correct 9.5″ × 9.5″ (240 × 240 mm) hoop size in your software and check that the embroidery design fits within the actual 8.7″ × 8.7″ (220 × 220 mm) sewing field. Always verify the limits before starting embroidery to avoid needle strikes.
Use a piece of strong tape or sticky putty to lift any metal debris from the Sewtalent hoop’s magnetic surface. Never wipe with your fingers, as small shards can cause injury. Regular maintenance keeps your embroidery hoop magnetic surfaces clean and prevents interference during machine embroidery on FUWEI industrial units.
Needle strikes usually occur if the chosen hoop size in your FUWEI software exceeds the actual working field of your Sewtalent magnetic hoop, or if the design was digitized too large. Always select a hoop equal to or smaller than 9.5″ × 9.5″ (240 × 240 mm) and use your machine’s trace feature to confirm design placement before stitching to protect the frame and needle.
