This typically occurs when the chosen hoop size in your Brother embroidery machine is larger than the actual sewing field of the Sewtalent magnetic hoop, or the embroidery design exceeds the 6.9″ × 6.9″ (175 × 175 mm) limit. Always select the correct hoop size in your software and perform a trace test before starting to avoid needle strikes.
Like most third‑party magnetic hoops, the Sewtalent frame is not automatically detected by the Brother PR1055X or PR680W machine. You should manually input the hoop size and verify that the embroidery design stays within the effective field. Once saved, the settings can be reused to ensure precise alignment for future projects.
