This issue is uncommon due to Sewtalent’s strong magnetic grip. First, confirm that all SGGEMSY machine brackets are firmly tightened. Second, use proper stabilizers suitable for heavy or slippery fabrics. For extremely dense patterns, adding a thin non-slip liner between layers can increase friction and stability without affecting the embroidery hoop alignment.
When using the Sewtalent embroidery magnetic hoop, always keep your fingers away from the snap zone while joining the top and bottom frames. Slide the top frame sideways to separate instead of pulling vertically. Avoid placing the hoop near pacemakers, magnetic cards, or electronic devices. Proper handling ensures safe and long-lasting magnetic hoops embroidery.
Needle strikes usually happen if your machine setup exceeds the hoop’s actual sewing area—about 11.6″ × 14.8″ (295 × 375 mm) for this size. Always choose the correct or smaller hoop size in your SGGEMSY software. Before stitching, perform a trace test to confirm needle clearance around the embroidery frame and avoid damage to the hoop or needle.
