Both methods work well with the Sewtalent embroidery magnetic hoop. For most fabrics, it’s best to sandwich the stabilizer with the fabric inside the hoop for consistent stitching. However, floating—placing the stabilizer under the bottom frame—is useful for bulky or delicate garments that should not be compressed. Choose based on fabric thickness and design density.
