No. The Sewtalent magnetic hoop is 100% safe for your Merlin embroidery machine and will not affect its electronics during normal operation. The magnets are designed to secure fabric layers efficiently without emitting magnetic fields capable of disrupting internal components. Simply avoid placing the hoop directly against the machine’s computer module when not in use.
In typical working conditions, the Sewtalent magnetic hoops will not harm nearby devices. However, it’s wise to keep USB drives, credit cards, or external hard drives at least 50 cm away from strong magnets.
