Protective tape is not required because each Sewtalent hooping station is crafted with a polished, smooth surface safe for fabrics of all weights, including delicate and elastic textiles. However, some users add a thin layer of painter’s tape when hooping ultrafine materials like silk or chiffon for additional surface grip and security.
No special tools are needed. The Sewtalent magnetic hoop 6.5″ × 6.5″ (165 × 165 mm) includes dedicated metal brackets that attach easily using the supplied screwdriver.
