What should I do if I notice the fabric slipping slightly during the embroidery process?
First, check that your stabilizer is strong enough for the design density. If the fabric is very thick or slippery, try applying a light non-slip grip tape between the layers of the magnetic embroidery hoop. Also, ensure that the hoop size is not overly large for your design, as this could cause a slack “drum” effect. With proper setup, slipping is rare.
If I hoop the fabric crooked by mistake, is it easy to reposition? Will it damage the fabric?
Yes, it’s extremely simple to fix. Just remove the upper magnetic frame, realign your fabric properly, and snap it back on. This gentle magnetic tension protects the fabric surface, leaving no hoop marks. I mainly embroider t-shirt logos. Which frame size is the most appropriate for me?
For left-chest embroidery or small logo work, a 4″×4″ (100×100 mm) magnetic hoop provides ideal control and stability. If you’re creating larger front designs or text layouts, choose 10″×10″ or bigger frames.
