Protective tape is not required because each Sewtalent hooping station is crafted with a polished, smooth surface safe for fabrics of all weights, including delicate and elastic textiles. However, some users add a thin layer of painter’s tape when hooping ultrafine materials like silk or chiffon for additional surface grip and security.
No special tools are needed. The Sewtalent magnetic hoop 6.5″ × 6.5″ (165 × 165 mm) includes dedicated metal brackets that attach easily using the supplied screwdriver. Once secured, the hoop aligns automatically with ROSEW models such as GC‑901E and GC‑1201EC, allowing quick swaps between hoop sizes without calibration or machine adjustments.
