This occurs when the hoop size selected in your MYSEW machine’s software exceeds the actual sewing field of the magnetic hoop or when the design is digitized too large. Always choose the correct or smaller hoop size—for example, 9.5″ × 9.5″ (240 × 240 mm)—and perform a trace test before stitching to ensure your needle won’t strike the edge.
Yes. The Sewtalent magnetic hoop distributes even pressure along the fabric, eliminating the crushing or creasing caused by traditional clamp hoops. This design helps prevent hoop burn on sensitive materials such as velvet, leather, satin, or knits—making it ideal for embroidery on MYSEW models like MHS1501 and MYS1202.
Both options work depending on your project. For most materials, sandwiching the stabilizer with the fabric inside the Sewtalent magnetic embroidery frame ensures firm hold and smooth stitching. However, for bulky or hard-to-clamp items, you can float the stabilizer below the lower frame on your MYSEW embroidery machine for easier placement without stretching.
Keep the magnets and frame surface free from lint and needle fragments after each use. Avoid dropping the hoop or exposing it to extreme heat, which may weaken magnetic strength. Regularly inspect screws and brackets on MYSEW machines such as MHS1203HC or MYS1502 to ensure secure alignment and consistent embroidery results over time.
